Exmocare have released a new device, called the BT2, which enables you or anyone else to have access to your emotions. BT2 is the size of a watch, and you will be wearing it around your wrist. It provides highly accurate heart rate and heart rate variability data, as well as skin conductance, skin temperature, and relative movement. All these informations are sent to a PC via Bluetooth, letting your boss know, for instance, if you`re getting too angry or bored when talking to a client.
The BT2 software runs silently in your taskbar and sends updates and alerts to their website. It doesn`t send informations directly to your PC, so that you can monitor the status of a person from anywhere in the world, accessing the website.
Exmocare are suggesting that it should be used for medical purposes, especially to patients with heart problems, but it won`t be too long before others will find different reasons to use it.
There are still questions left regarding the accuracy of measuring the psychological state, many saying that it can be tricked the same way some people manage to pass the polygraph test.
