The PRO-HG Duo Memory Stick Reaches 30Mbps

The Extreme III Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo is SanDisk’s latest release, and is not exactly an ordinary memory stick. The card enforces its name by supporting an extreme 8Gb of storage space and a 30MBps read and write ability.

With these capabilities, they seem exactly what high performance DSLRs and camcorders need. Also designed for durability, even if put under harsh conditions, the memory sticks will be available worldwide starting June with a price tag of $150.
