Lenovo Thinkpad x200 Launched

Personal computer maker Lenovo has announced the launch of yet another ultra-thin laptop named ThinkPad X200 and it is incredible!
This new product from the company weighs just around 1.34 kilograms. It comes loaded with a four cell battery. Customers can however order the machine with a nine-cell battery which increases the weight but also battery life.
Lenovo ThinkPad X200 features a 12.1-inch screen. Customers can get it with a 64GB solid state drive or regular hard drives of up to 320GB capacity.

Atom Powered Lenovo Ideapad U8 Unveiled

Lenovo has just released a new Ideapad series UMPC, at Intel’s IDF in Shandhai. Called U8, it features a Intel Atom processor, 4.8-inch touchscreen and bullseye, optical mouse, EDGE and 3G and possibly TD-SCDMA for China.
Also it supports MS Office applications, it sports Live GPS, hand written notes and probably the 12-key pad is headed for calling. The Ideapad U8 will come with Linux and if you want to see with your own eyes what we are talking about, watch the following video.

Lenovo’s ThinkPad X300 Competes With Apple MacBook Air, Probably Wins

Lenovo prepares to compete with Apple’s MacBook Air, preparing a new ultraportable also extremely skinny, but better spec’d. The ThinkPadX300 is going to weight only 3.12 pounds and should feature a removable battery, 3 USB 2.0 ports, WiFi, Ethernet and an optional WWAN / GPS. This sounds much better than Apple’s “world’s thinnest laptop” and it definitely is much more usable. Now Apple has some reasons to worry of competition.
