The Norwegian design house TRØKK16 is present at the 2008 Milan International Furniture Fair where they will exhibit their award-winner Loop LED Lamp. The desk lamp won the Prixluxo Award at the 2007 Stockholm Furniture Fair and now it’s hungrier for more awards.

We have been hearing of organic LEDs (OLEDs) for quite some time now, as they are supposed to be a new way to produce light with very little energy and can last for years before being replaced. Although there wouldn’t be much point in releasing to the market a lamp using this technology, because of the high price it would have, OSRAM has just announced their new product, which is exactly this lamp.

 If you are missing a pet in your home, then you should seriously think about this dog-shaped lamp that always listens you, if plugged in. Or better said, it will always turn on if you pet his metal head and illuminate your home. It’s touch sensitive surface will turn it on and scale through different lightning levels then turn off. Also it’s good looking and could be a nice accessory in your home, but it’s $150 price is it’s only inconvenience.
