Sanyo decided the EX-F1 slow motion digital camera from Casio needs some competition, so they released this Xacti HD1010 slow motion camcorder to keep them busy. According to a project involving a concept camera, robots could replace humans in various domains that require delicate tasks. Researchers from Stanford University are trying to put together a digital image sensor which consists of 12,616 with the purpose of generating better 3D images.

CompactFlash Association has announced the development of a new memory technology which could be introduced in the course of next year. The only drawback is that the CFast , as it’s called the new version, is not compatible with current camera models.
According to John Santoro, senior marketing manager for Lexar, the cards are destined for high-end cameras because of the high-speed data transfer and therefore he rushes big companies to start working on the development of new high-end cameras in order to support this technology.

The compact camera features  8-megapixels, 3x Zoom-Nikkor lenses, a 3.0-inch LCD screen, anti-shake AE for great quality and automati red-eye correction.
