Nike Dunk High Custom features a neon green light on the sides that will either glow or blink. Each shoe is powered by one AAA battery and if worn carefully, the only thing you’ll replace at them is the batteries.

For those that still prefer disposable batteries, Panasonic has developed the Evolta lineup, that has a lifetime 1.3 to 2 times longer than the existing alkaline batteries. Actually it’s quite good, but less favorable to use than a rechargeable battery.
Panasonic claims that the Evolta are the longest lasting AA batteries in the world and they will be 15% more expensive than usual batteries. We should see them on shelves on April 26th.
