I wish this news was just a lie, but it isn’t. It seems like Apple found a way to play down the rumors regarding the release of the 3G iPhone. AT&T, the sole provider of iPhone on US territory, began listing a so-called “iPhone Black” and O2 also is listing a new series of 16GB iPhone in the UK which means that for the moment we have to say goodbye to our beloved 3G iPhone. I guess that Apple doesn’t understand that we really need it.

Here is another sign which shows that 3G iPhone is on the way - the latest beta release of Firmware 2.0 specially made for the iPhone includes the “Enable 3G” mode which can be disabled and the iPhone will go back to GPRS/EDGE in order to save some battery, because 3G which is a faster service “decreases battery life”. You can check this out for yourself, just go to Applications/Preferences.app/Network.plist in the beta release. I can’t wait to 3G iPhone to be released and I hope that Apple will not …

I would be very happy to say that the police is doing a great job, but this time it looks like Apple have done a better job thanks to their Back To My Mac screen-share function. Let me give a summary of the story - there was this girl who had a party in her apartment and just two weeks after the party, about $5,000 worth electronics were missing from her place.
One of the things missing was her Mac, but just a few days later she received a call from …

The latest news regarding Apple and their product that everybody likes is that now it’s not available anymore. The online stores in UK and US show that the 8GB and the 16GB are “Currently Unavailable”.
This status means two things - first is that the demand is so high that they couldn’t handle it and the second is that the 3G …

Great news for ModBook fans, that haven’t managed to get one yet. The tablet PC just got upgraded, now featuring a 2.1 or 2.4Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, a HDD of 120 or 160GB. Yet those are the only upgrades he’s got, still running Mac OS X Leopard and is priced at $2,290 for the base model and $2,480 for the 2.4Ghz version. Lenovo prepares to compete with Apple’s MacBook Air, preparing a new ultraportable also extremely skinny, but better spec’d. The ThinkPadX300 is going to weight only 3.12 pounds and should feature a removable battery, 3 USB 2.0 ports, WiFi, Ethernet and an optional WWAN / GPS. This sounds much better than Apple’s “world’s thinnest laptop” and it definitely is much more usable. Now Apple has some reasons to worry of competition.

The new MacBook Air is the thinnest laptop yet, but as Apple got us used with quality is also very sturdy. Still, it’s not the ultimate ultra-portable laptop, but it’s very good at it and has great performances for it’s extreme sizes. Being only 0.76 inches think in it’s thickest part, it’s even better than the standard 13-inch MacBook on some parts, but sure, it lacks some important features.
