Sony’s PRS-505 eBook Reader Ready for Shipping

Sony PRS-505Sony recently announced the official sale start of their PRS-505 eBook reader. It is now available for $299.99 and users can purchase it in silver or dark blue colors. Upon buying it you will also get 100 Connect eBook Classic titles without paying an extra dime. It boasts on providing a new experience for readers with a 6 inch display that uses Ink technology in order to make it look as similar to paper as possible at the moment. You can easily read the eBooks even in bright sunshine and there is a near 180 degrees viewing angle with high contrast and high resolution capabilities. You can also magnify the text if the reader has impaired vision. The PRS-505 eBook reader is very portable and easy to carry around on trips. It is very lightweight and this allow the possibility of taking it with you wherever you go. It can hold up to 160 eBooks at a time and weighs just 9 ounces while measuring a thickness of just half an inch. One charge allows for up to 7,500 page turns so it is more than likely you will not run out of battery in the middle of that important chapter of what you are reading. It is definitely easier to carry around Sony’s PRS-505 eBook reader than a regular book and the price is also not that high.
