SimpleTech has released the 256GB 3.5″ SSD and announced a whopping 512GB one to come in Q3, this year. The drives are called Zeus-IOPS and currently offer the biggest capacity on the market of 3.5 inch SSDs. Upon that, the drives are also extremely fast, at 200x, but, unfortunately are very expensive. The 512GB is expected to be priced at about $3,000 when launched and it may get to $1,000 in a few years, but then we will probably have a few terrabytes drives.
