Samsung Updates the Dap Line

Apple is said to soon present the new iPod line so competition needs to be one step ahead. This is the case with Samsung as they just updated the intire DAP line with the new Digital Natural Sound Engine (DNSe 2.0). Besides this new aspect the players are the same and use flash memory with capacity of storing up to 4 GB or 8 Gb, depending on the model. The design looks a lot like an iPhone ripoff. There are three new Samsung DAP models on the market now.

The YP-P2 can be purchased in white, white and red or black colors and comes in 2 and 4 gigabytes versions. It holds a 3 inch, 16:0 LCD screen and is only 3.3 mm. thin. 35 hours of battery life while playing mp3 files is very good and 5 hours in video mode is quite acceptable. The included EmoTureTM UI lets users control the menu without pressing any buttons.

The YP-T10 has a 2 inch color LCD and is also available in 2 and 4 GB formats. It weighs 43 g. and stands in at 7.9 mm thinness. You have included a FM Radio tuner and allows 30 hours of mp3 playback and 4 hours in video mode.

YP-S5 is again available in 2 and 4 GB formats and has 1.8 inch LCD screen. This model features bluetooth capability and comes with a 25 hours battery lifespan in mp3 playback mode and, just like the other two, 4 hours in Video mode. The YP-S5 weighs in at 85 g. and is 14.95 mm. thick

The biggest disadvantage these models offer stands in screen-size. We have three gadgets that can play video but you can hardly see anything because the screens are very small. The main advantages stand in high quality audio playback, flash memory space and of course battery life in mp3 playback mode.
