Samsung Q2

7 March 2007 No Comment

The Samsung Q2 is a tiny device with a very big identity problem. The result of a collaboration by Microsoft, Samsung, and Intel, the Q2 is the newest product in the Ultra Mobile PC (UMPC) category, its design falling somewhere between a Pocket PC and an ultralight laptop computer with a small screen.

Samsung Q2

Samsung has upgraded their UMPC to increase battery life and speeds. The Samsung Q1P SSD has Samsung’s new 32GB SSD (solid-state NAND) flash memory which leads to increases in speed up to 25-50% faster than systems that employ a traditional hard drive. To be exact, that means it is capable of reading 300 times faster (53 MB/s) and writing 150 percent faster (28 MB/s). A new AVS Now feature allows you to enjoy many multimedia applications, including video, movies, music and still photos, without booting up Windows — finally life without Windows. WiFi and Bluetooth are also integrated into this 1.7 lbs. device. We reccomand this device for easier life and more fun.
