Pixel Filled Hour Glass

One of the oldest devices used for time measuring is set to be replaced by modern technology. Designer Pavel Balykin implemented pixels in an hour glass, instead of sand. How did he do that? By creating a watch that has as a screen saver a pixel hour glass. It’s as simple as that!

It is called the Sand+Time Watch and it uses a motion sensor close to the one from Apple iPhone. The screen saver does not actually count time, the actual time being shown when you press a side button to stop the screen saver.
