Panasonic has announced a pair of P2 HD cameras and a 16GB P2 card, that will be available in May for $900, which is not cheap. Also, they promised the 32GB version to be available until the end of this year. The AJ-HPX3000 is a 1080p, five slot P2 HD camera, priced at a whopping $48,000 and the much cheaper AG-HPX500 is a 1080i/720p four slot camera, priced at $14,000. The cameras aren’t headed to home consumers, so you shouldn’t get that scared about the price.
