Panasonic SDR-S150
In some vacations, it’s all about breaking away for a few days and bringing back some memories. The SDR-S150 is just the choice for that; it’s light, weighs 10.2 ounces, and the design is classy.
It also features three CCDs, a 10X zoom lens, 3-megapixel still photos, optical image stabilization, and SD-card recording, as well as a 2GB SD card. The menu is easy to use and there is a rubber nub at the bottom of its grip and also the zoom and navigation controls are easy to operate. It also has a USB 2.0 port, and a single proprietary-connector multi-A/V cable.
It may be small, but it looks and feels sturdy. And it is, meainng you can carry it around and make pictures in many places, if you want. The quality is not very high and the focus is slow to lock. Also it has a poor auto white balance as well as inconsistent metering.
Another thing is the battery life. It doesn’t last a lot. But at least it has optical image stabilizer. Price is $699.95.
