Panasonic Lumix FX100 12.2MP Announced

An excellent camera has been announced by Panasonic, the Lumix FX100, that sports a 12.2 megapixel 1/1.72″ CCD. It’s 28mm Leica lens feature a 3.6x optical zoom, VE III processor , Panny Mega Optical Image Stabilizer. The camera has reduced blurring with an Intelligent ISO control with a sensivity of up to 6,400. At it’s highest resolution it can take 8 shots a second and it’s release takes 0.009 seconds.

It also has great recording capabilities, with 30fps at WVGA 848×480 resolution and 15fps at 1,280×720. It uses and directly records on SD/SDHC memory cards. Release date and pricing haven’t been disclosed yet.
