Packard Bell is trying to get on the market with two new laptops, announcing the EasyNote SB85 and SB86 Intel Santa Rosa platform laptops. The SB85 sports a Intel Core 2 Duo T7100 1.8Ghz, GeForce 8600M GS 256MB and a 160GB HDD, being priced at $1,624 or  €1,199 and the SB86 sports a Intel Core 2 Duo T7300 2Ghz, GeForce 8600 BS 512MB and a 120GB HDD, costing $2,029 or €1,499.

Both the EasyNote SB85 and SB86 feature 802.11n Wi-Fi, 2GB of RAM, 1.3 megapixel cam, dual-layer DVD±RW, HDMI ports and 15.4″ LCD displays. The laptops are supposed to be released at the end of the current month.
