This two piece set looks outta this world, looking more like alien spaceships rather than audio
speakers. The shell is made of aluminum and steel; that makes it more solid and reduces the vibration. The 11-inch subwoofer in each satellite is directed downwards, maximizing the power and not transfering too much distortion to the ground; the mid-range drivers are lifted above the subwoofers, cutting back on resonance. They are very popular now and have been sold in great numbers. Price is $8,995.
