Many analysts have said that NVIDIA might buy AMD, because lately they feel threatened by Intel and AMD, after their roadmap of integration of the CPU and GPU and now Doug Friedman, from the American Technology Research also affirms that. Now, if NVIDIA is really going to buy AMD, it’s Intel’s time to feel threatened because they might become a much powerful competitor on the market, than they are alone. Also, Intel and AMD have an agreement to not transfer any of Intel’s technologies to a third party that could start producing x86 CPUs. Currently, nothing is official, but it is very probable that NVIDIA will make this step.
