We have a new Sony VAIO on our hands in Europe and it is designed to fit business customers needs. The company just released an update to their BX series with the introduction of the BX51. Just as with previous models, it presents a 15.4 inch display that can support a resolution of up to 1280X800. The main difference comes with the inclusion of a 2 GHz T7250 Core 2 Duo CPU that is supported by 2 GB of RAM memory and a 120 GB hard disk drive. Based on operating system wanted there are two models available. The Sony VAIO VGN-BX51XP will have Windows XP Professional installed and the VGN-BX51VN will come with Windows VIsta Business. This second Sony VAIO mentioned also comes with Bluetooth, ca 1.3 megapixel webcam and a 160 GB hard disk drive. They are both to be available in Europe at the end of this month with price varying from €1,120 or €1,350 (that’s about $1,600 to $1,880).
