Sony Electronics has announced they have made a great new adition to their team with the endoresment deal with Nascar Nextel Cup Driver, Dale Earnhardt Jr.With this deal that has been made for a next several years, Sony can use Earnhardt’s name, likeness, image, voice and endorsement for use in advertising, promotions and merchandising for the consumer marketing campaigns aimed at driving sales of Sony Electronics products.
The Nascar driver, Dale Earnhardt Jr. will have to promote Sony’s Bravia and will need to appear in the upcoming Sony HD campaigns.
He is obliged to participate in the major electronics industry events and all the trade shows and he has to make personal appearances each year on behalf of Sony as part of the agreement between the two companys.
Some words about Dale Earnhardt Jr. :  his racing career has begun at the age of 17.He participated in 270 Nextel Cup races, with 17 victories, he had 71 top-five finishes and 115 top-10 finishes.Now he is at his eighth full season of the Nascar Nextel Cup competition. He is one of Nascar’s most loved and respected drivers.Also he has been choosen by all race fans for the fourth time winner of the Nascar’s most popular driver award, and in 2006 he has been choosen as the fifth most loved athlete in America in Harris Interactive polling.
