NEC has announced it’s latest devices, an all in one VALUESTAR VW990/HG, with a great 32″ LCD HDTV, WXGA resolution and a PC attached to it. The PCs specifications are a Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, Nvidia GeForce Go 7600, up to 2GB of DDR2 RAM, up to a whopping 800GB of HDD space, a Blu-Ray reader, two FireWire ports, four USB 2.0 ports, PCMCIA, gigabit Ethernet, flash card reader, modem, VGA, audio inputs and outputs and a TV Tuner. The VW990 will cost from $2,989 up to $4,150 depending on configuration and LCD size.
The NEC LaVie J is a ultraportable with a Intel Core Duo U2400 , an integrated video card, Intel 945GMS Express, up to 120GB of HDD space, up to 2GB of RAM, a dual layer DVD burner, 802.11a/b/g, a SD / SDHC slot, PCMCIA, Bluetooth 2.0 EDR, three USB 2.0 ports, audio inputs and outputs, VGA output. The LaVie J will be priced at around $1,660.
