Today the company announced the MSI Wind U100 Netbook will be sold in several Best Buy locations across the country in order to introduce the notebook to more people, and meet the needs of buyers who don’t want to purchase the netbook online. Even better, is the fact that you can compare both the Acer Aspire and the MSI Wind side-by-side before making your decision.

Both netbooks seem to feature similar specifications, but prices vary a bit so you’ll have to judge for yourself whether the MSI Wind is worth $399. Apparently, the Wind’s keyboard is only 20 percent smaller than a full-sized one, so I’d definitely check into that before buying the Acer Aspire which has a tiny keyboard and a smaller screen.

Other notable features include an Intel Atom processor, 10-inch screen, 120GB hard drive, 1GB of memory, Windows XP Home Edition, and only it weighs 2.3 pounds. Only the black and white versions will be available at Best Buy in the above configuration, but if you’re thinking about buying a netbook under $400, this is definitely one to consider.
