LG LF-D7150 Review

13 January 2007 No Comment

If you need a mini home theater with DVD included, LG has released LF-D7150 at a low price of $250 and has a lot of features like USB port or DivX codecs. The sound system has a techy design, with a nice LCD display and good sound quality. It’s composed of two speakers and a central unit, which includes the DVD player and controls the system. The speakers are 6.4×12.6×10.2 big and also nice looking designed.LG LF-D7150’s USB connectivity with the PC is a great feature, especially if you want to fully use it as a sound system for your PC. Also, you can use it with CD or DVD, Radio or Auxilliary inputs, like TV.

The system can play most common media files, like MP3, WMA, DivX videos or even JPEG. It’s menu is very bright and with it’s help you can easily navigate trough folders to find your favorite movie or song. The LG LF-D7150 has a Radio AM/FM receiver and can hold up to 50 station presets.

As power, is enough for a home to listen to music or watch movies, with 160 watts ( 80 watts each speaker ). Of course, it has no surround since there are only two speakers, but the sound quality is still good and the system is worth it’s low price. You can use the Equalizer or DSP to improve sound quality, depending the room you’re using it in, like bath, theater, church etc.
It’s video quality is not the best, but still you can watch movies with it, but not at highest resolution. Anyway, LG LF-D7150 is a good DVD minisystem that can use as a home theater in your home.
