Lexmark Z845 Reviews

7 March 2007 3 Comments

Get excellent quality easily with the Lexmark Z845 high performance color printer.
The Z845 strengthens Lexmark’s position at the low end of the market. The new unit has a maximum print speed of 24 ppm in black and 18 ppm in color and offers six-color printing capability. The Z845’s maximum print resolution is 4,800-by-1,200 dpi in color mode.
This compact desktop printer offers fast, sharp and reliable results. Product features:  Fast printing! Up to 24 ppm black, up to 18 ppm color; Professional quality text and graphics up to 4800 x 1200 dpi; Create brilliant borderless prints on popular photo sizes; Reliable! Print up to 3,000 pages per month.

Lexmark Z845

It’s easy to print frame-worthy, borderless photos using the built-in photo editing software which features color correction and red-eye reduction using your computer. The optional photo cartridge, allows 6-color printing to reach a broad range of colors for better image quality. The Z845 is perfect for anyone who needs a sturdy, reliable, desktop printer.
The Lexmark Z845 Inkjet Printer is compatible with Windows 98/ME/2000: Pentium II 233Mhz, 128Mb RAM, 500Mb HD space and  Windows XP/64: Pentium II 300Mhz, 128Mb RAM, 500Mb HD space.
For tight budgets where only the occasional printout is needed, the single-function Lexmark Z845 is a good choice. It can’t match the feature sets, the print speeds, or the print quality of pricier models, but it’s cheap and simple to operate.

I bought a Lexmark z845 printer the other day,to fit on my windows 98 program, but I cannot get a driver for it.

I need a driver for it because I cannot afford to buy a later program.

I do have an XP home edition, but I also have 2 girls one in college next year and the either in uni.,and they each need their own computer & printer.

I understand Microsoft doesn’t allow to download 98 Drivers anymore.

But we are on the pension which means money is hard to keep.

If I could afford later program I would invest in a higher quality printer.

    Can you help please.
