AMD is looking to include in their products integrated graphics which can support hybrid crossfire. AMD showed a demo of this technique to PC Perspective of the new more powerful chips by showing a 2.2 GHz Phenom, with RS780 and RV620 integrated graphics, both unreleased. Frame rates, from games like Unreal Tournament 3 and Call of Duty 4, increased from 30 fps to 55 fps when hybrid-mode was turned on. The first series of chip capable of hybrid CrossFire will be delivered in the first third of next year and will cost around $50.
