HP has recently designed three new laptops, the Pavilion a1700, which has an Athlon 64 X2 3800+, an Nvidia GeForce 6150 LE, 1Gb of DDR2 RAM and a SATA HDD with 250GB capacity. The other two releases are the dv6255ca and dv6265ca, which come with 2GB of RAM and 160GB of HDD space, but feature a low end graphics chipset,t he GMA950. They are also powered by a Intel Core 2 Duo, at 1.6Ghz and, respectively, 1.83Ghz. The laptops have 15.4″ WXGA LCD displays, 802.11a/b/g Wi-Fi and a 1.3 megapixel webcam.The dv6255 will be released in Canada on January 30, for the price of $1,399 and will have Windows Vista Home Premium preinstalled.
