HP Pavilion m7780n Reviews
The HP Pavilion m7780n is a mid-end PC, which has great performances for it’s low price and it also features a HD DVD. It comes with Windows Vista preinstalled and it is great for a general use PC, not a gaming or extraordinary graphic design. It’s components are not the latest on the market and not high-end, but are good, with a Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 2.14Ghz, 2GB of RAM, at 500Mhz, a 500GB HDD and a GeForce 7600 GT 256MB video card. It’s HD DVD player is a big plus, because it allows you to watch HD movie, if you have a HDCP compliant display. The problem is with the limitation of the HDCP over the DualLink, which affects 30″ LCDs, but works on others.
The m7780n is a midtower desktop, that has entertainment capabilities, which is not met very often. this desktop PC supports 1,920×1080 ( 1080p ) resolution, which will let you enjoy full HD DVD movies, but the player is just a reader, so you can’t burn your own HD DVDs, but for dual-layers DVDs there a burner included.
HP’s website lacks support, but ,at least, while in warranty, which is one year, the customer has 24/7 toll-free phone support and some support tools preinstalled on the PC.
