Sharp and Hitachi are both trying to showcase some ultra-thin LCDs. This comes after Sony announced the incredibly flat, high contrast OLED TVs. So, we have Hitachi launching a 19 mm thin LCD television that stands at 32 inch. It was announced but not much will be known until the CREATEC event in Japan 2007. Although it is quite thin, it still pails in comparison with the crazy 3 mm Sony OLED. So we all need to wait for CREATEC to start so we can get some inside info on the Hitachi 19 mm thin LCD.
