It looks like IBM has magical powers. They used their spells to attract a new partner for the chips which are using 32-nm circuitry. Hitachi is the latest company that signed a two-year deal and they joined the party consisting of AMD, Toshiba, Freescale, Sony, STMicroelectronics, Infineon, Chartered and Samsung. The only company that doesn’t want to involve in this manufacturing process is , of course, Intel which still uses the 45-nm chips.
