Hannspree Xv LCD TV - 32″

17 February 2007 No Comment

Not anyone can afford a 32″ LCD TV, but this one is among the cheapest. Hanspree isn’t a very famous company. They are mostly known for having crazy shaped HDTVs, like stars or pigs. This one is pretty clasic in design though, if you’re watching standard-definition you will very probably be very satisfied.

It’s dimmensions are standard, 31.8×25.4×8.3 inches, and it weighs 48 pounds, being pretty
solid, just like the remote control. Standard resolution also, 1,366×768 pixels; includes ATSC digital tuner and you can enjoy two sources simultaneously, and it has inset and side-by-side modes, works with computer and HDTV sources. It also features a freeze mode and a picture zoom, but not backlighting. Overall picture quality is not brilliant, but just a bit above acceptable. It’s range of controls is quite impressive and one can choose different colour individual slides. Downside is that the black isn’t very dark, it’s just a bit brightful. The contour is also not perfect and it lacks a noise reduction control. But the flaws end there, making it probably be worth the $499.99 it is priced at.
