Hackers Attack An Epilepsy Forum

3 April 2008 3 Comments

RyAnne FultzI never would have thought that there are people in this world that don’t care for the ones that are not so fortunate. A while ago, I found out about 7-years old kid suffering from cancer who was going to treat himself and some burglar stolen his PSP and even his medication.

Unfortunately, something like that happened on a support forum ran by the nonprofit Epilepsy Foundation for the people who suffer from this disease. A group of hackers attacked the forum with hundreds of Java messages and flashing animations that were causing headaches for the Epilepsy victims.

The Epilepsy Foundation took measures at about 12 hours after the attacks and the forum was closed in order to clear those messages. We can only hope that the griefers will get what they deserve.

I read about these jerks the other day. Kind makes me want to go track em down and send them a virus that would completely destroy their pc’s.But alas I do not know how to hack and two wrongs don’t make it right…maybe just settles the score a little bit though…(j/k)
