Most of the current devices are Flash and RAM-based, like cellphones, computers, pocket PCs, PMPs and many more. Wouldn’t it be great if you could store data ten times faster than on a Flash memory and also it would last for more than 10 years ? Well, Dr. Shin Young-han states that he figured out how to deal with ferroelectrics and we might use FeRAM in the future that will have the capabilities i was talking about. But currently nothing is for sure, so we can only wait and see if he really succeeds to develop the memory.
