Three LCDs have just been announced by Envision, the H1981, H1781 and G918W1. The G918W1 is a widescreen with a 1,440×900 pixels resolution and a contrast of 800:1, featuring a HDCP compliant DVI port. The Envision H1781 and H1981 have the same features, a 1,280×1,024 resolution, 700:1 contrast ratio, a VGA input and 170 degrees viewing angle, but the first one has 17 inches and the second 19. The H1781 will be priced at $199.99, the H1981 at $229.99 and the G918W1 at $219.99, so we shouldn’t expect extreme quality from them.
