DLO HomeDock Deluxe (version 2)

26 March 2007 No Comment

The time when you get a bit tired viewing photos and listening songs and you could want to play that media or what you want on your home stereo or television. This could just be the solution.

It measures 1.0 by 5.8 by 3.8 inches and it looks nice, in black and silver box with a docking port and a remote control with a built-in stand which also looks pretty good. The downside is that remote communicates by infrared. But it’s easy to use, set up, dock your iPod and change your television’s input source and you will notice the HomeDock Deluxe immediately; it has two modes which can be choosed from.

The bad thing is that you can’t navigate so easy when scrolling around your artist names and that can be pretty hard. Also, you need to launch a slide show from your library or a photo folder to vieew photos, but that also isn’t very bad. The video and photos are ok, they look decent.

The downside is that the software doesn’t show you which podcasts you’ve already listened to or viewed and the software has some small glitches. It is attractive, but it’s expensive. Price is $150.
