Seagate announced that they will begin commercializing the new 7,200-rpm, 320GB SATA disk with 16MB cache, despite the fact that Fujistsu and Hitachi have announced first. The hard-drive is called the Momentus 7200.3 and from now on it’s available on Dell’s XPS M1730 and soon will be available for all Alienware laptops. Actually, the Momentus is the first 7,200-rpm, 320GB hard-drive for mobile computing and for about $46, the XPS M1730 will get the upgrade over the 5,400-rpd, 320GB.
