Dell XPS M1330 Upgraded To Penryn For Free

After HP and Toshiba used a Penryn chip on their laptops, it’s Dell’s turn to upgrade its laptops. Although we knew that this upgrade will come, we didn’t expect that we won’t have to pay for it. Dell is upgrading the XPS M1330 line, which is smaller than the laptops used by Toshiba and HP for the Penryn. If you build your 4GB of RAM laptop at AUD$2,000 it will be upgraded for free to a Core 2 Duo T9300 processor. Unfortunately this is available only in Australia, but we expect Dell to sell their upgraded laptops in the States.
