We’ve been talking last week about a tablet PC that was going to be released by Dell. Rumors that were saying the new Latitude XT was going to be released this week became true and it has some great feature, i’d say everyone will love it.

It sports a 12.1-inch 1,280×800 WXGA LED-backlit, 400cd/m2 capacitive touchscreen, with palm detection and an active digitizer. It will be powered by a 1.06Ghz Intel Core 2 Solo or 1.2Ghz Duo ULV, ATI Radeon X1250 UMA Graphics, up to 3Gb of RAM and the customer can opt between many storage configurations, as following: 32GB or 64GB SSD, 40GB or 80GB 4,200RPM HDD, 120GB 5,400RPM HDD.

The new Latitude XT features great connectivity options, like the HSDPA, EVDO rev A., 802.11a/b/g/n, gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth 2, ExpressCard54, 1394, SD memory card slot, VGA, three USB 2.0 ports.

It’s standard 43WH battery pack can last 5 hours and the extended 45WH pack can live up to 9 hours, with a super low profile power adapter and also is Energy Star 4.0 compliant. Other features are the scroll wheel, TPM 1.2 and a biometric reader.

The 1-inch think tablet PC only weights 3.57 pounds without battery and it’s price will begin from $2,500.
