Dell E207WFP 20″

30 December 2006 No Comment

The Dell E207WFP is a 20 inch wide LCD TFT display, with a retail price of $260. It has a really nice design and has a HDCP compliant DVI input, which is good. Unfortunately, it can’t pivot or swivel, but it can be tilted 21 degrees back and 4 degrees forward, having a non adjustable height.

The display is pretty low on extras, having no speakers or memory card slots. It has a response time of 5 ms, which is pretty fast, the contrast ratio is 800:1 and the viewing angle is 160 degrees both on vertical and horizontal. The highest resolution supported is 1,680 x 1,050 and the dot pitch is .258 mm.
It’s performance is not great, but not very poor, especially at this low price. This is morely prefered by casual users, both home and business, but for those that prefer quality for DVD watching and game playing, it won’t satisfy them.

The Dell E307WFP is a mid-end display, with a low price, which is worth it. IT has 3 years of warranty, but can pe expanded for $29 by one year and for $49 by two years.
