The online version of the Wall Street Journal announced that Dell will drop four models of the XPS in order to concentrate on Alienware, a company which they picked up in 2006. I am not very sure that they made a smart move, but who knows? A certainty is that Alienware has a lot of fans (probably more than XPS-series) and this means that is very likely to reinvigorate their desktop business. Until next month, no gamer will cry, but I can’t guarantee this for the rest of the summer.
