Dell 2707WFP Reviews

12 February 2007 No Comment

The 2707WFP is a great 27″ LCD monitor, very easy to set up and unshakable, even if it doesn’t have extreme image qualities. It has a techy design and comes with a lot of connectivity ports, for CompactFlash, SD, MMC, Memory Stick and SmartMedia and with two USB 2.0 ports. It has a resolution of 1,920×1,200 pixels, a dot pitch of 0.303 mm, and a contrast ratio of 1,000:1. The response time is 6ms for gray to gray and 16ms for black to white. It comes with both DVI and VGA inputs.  Unfortunately, the resolution is quite low for it’s siz and it would be expected to be a bit higher. Currently, it has about 83 pixels per inch, which is not the best.

It’s contrast ratio is great, at 1,000:1 and it’s brightness of 438cd/m2 makes it one of the brightest on the market, which is impressive.  The Dell 2707WFP is not the best monitor, but a good one, perfect for home usage and for businesses that aren’t doing extreme design and working with colors.

The 2707WFP comes with a three year warranty and can be extended to 4 years, for $49 and to 5 for $79.  The monitor is priced at $1,400 and it’s quality doesn’t quite reflect the price, being a bit low. Only it’s speed, contrast ratio and brightness are high.
