When it comes to flash drives we keep on seeing new technology implemented, all in a race to get as many customers as possible. Security features are always welcomed, popular and a necessity. This is probably why Corsair just introduced the new Flash Padlock, being retailed at $29.99 and $39.99 in 1 GB and 2 GB variants. What is innovative stands in tacking on a PIN based security system that can limit access to the drive. This can easily be seen from how it looks.Corsair claims that the system is imprevious to crackers and hackers because its security is entirely hardware based. The downside is that computers with USB ports in the back might be difficult to access over and over again in order to enter the PIN only you know.
