Cool Laptop Concepts Part XII - Canova Dual Screen

18 April 2008 One Comment

Canova Dual Screen Laptop

This is the last laptop concept that we will present to you in the first series. When is coming the second series? I don’t know but hopefully will be very soon. Well, lets get to the part concerns us. This definitely is the laptop of the future which features two screen with multi-sensitive touch that is very similar to the system that the iPhone has.

The lappie concept is called Canova Dual Screen Laptop and its two screens will show the commands directly on the screens therefore you don’t need keyboard shortcuts or other accessories. I am sure that Canova will make jealous most of the concepts because it can give you whatever you would want from a laptop.

Concepts are easy. A friend of mine came up with that concept in August 1987 on a boat party held by Whitechapel Computer Works to celebrate the launch of the world’s first desktop RISC workstation. More than 20 years on, and the concept still isn’t reality. See how easy concepts are?

For example - how can it have a multi-touch screen, when you know that Steve Jobs is never going to licence the multi-touch patent to anyone?
