Dell’s Latitude XT impressed many through its daylight view feature supported by such a portable design. Until now, nobody cared which of the daylight viewable or the LED one was superior. Rob Bushway, from GottaBeMobile conducted a long-term analysis and concluded that the LED-based machine is better.

The main characteristics he chose to sustain his belief were that the LED product didn’t perform much worse than its DLV competitor, it is a few ounces lighter and they have the same battery life. Looks like Dell’s engineers troubled too much with this and didn’t succeed to get what was expected from them.
