Backup Platinum is a software that backups your data on many types of storage media, easily. It supports hard drives, USB drives, CDs, DVDs or Blu-Ray and can also send the data to a FTP server or through a Local Area Network. It is very easy to use and your data will be secure, due to the 128-bit encryption with Blowfish the software provides, along with the ZIP compression, so the backups will be smaller and easier to transfer.

It really is a powerful software and can even erase a rewritable CD or DVD to backup the data on it. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to work on Linux or Mac, but supports all versions of Windows, from 95 to Vista. If you don’t have the time or forget to start the backups manually, you can simply schedule it to automatically start. Also, you don’t even to be logged in the OS, because it can work in service mode.

Another advantage is that it can even backup the files that are in use and also makes detailed logs of everything it does. In my opinion, Backup Platinum is a really good software, with a medium price of $67. Fortunately, they do offer a 30-day trial version, so you can be aware of what you are buying.

Online communities are the best ways to meet old friends and make new ones. If you feel alone or just want to chat with someone, an online community is the best site to find a person who you might like to talk with. Also, those communities can also be useful to find a date.

It features a 3-inch 800×480 VGA touchscreen underneath you can find a QWERTY keyboard, having an arc slider design. It’s menu offers the ability to arrange the screen as the user wants, making it perfect for everyone’s needs. Also, it sports quad-band, HSDPA / HSUPA, WiFi, Bluetooth and runs Windows Mobile 6 Professional Edition.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X1

Sony Ericsson Xperia X1’s internal memory of 400MB can be extended via the microSD memory card slot, with up to 4GB. On the back you can find a quality 3.2 megapixel camera, which seems a bit uncomfortable to use, due to it’s size.

Another features, like the multimedia player and assisted GPS make this smartphone a top one. Unfortunately there aren’t any informations about the processor and RAM, but still it’s great for navigating, sending and receiving emails and, of course, talking.

The new MacBook Air is the thinnest laptop yet, but as Apple got us used with quality is also very sturdy. Still, it’s not the ultimate ultra-portable laptop, but it’s very good at it and has great performances for it’s extreme sizes. Being only 0.76 inches think in it’s thickest part, it’s even better than the standard 13-inch MacBook on some parts, but sure, it lacks some important features.

PSP-2000 silver

Here we have the new PSP-2000. Let us see what was modified since the last PSP model and see whether or not it is worth it or not. To get right into the facts, the first thing I noticed is how light this PSP actually is. It is a lot lighter when compared with the original PSP. It looks a lot shinier and slick and you get the feeling that it will slip out of your hands when you are playing. The good news is that this will not happen as it is actually very comfortable to hold and play. We immediately noticed that the speakers have been moved from under the system’s face to it’s top. It is an interesting design move that makes the sound easier to hear. The D-Pad is a little bit higher when compared with the previous model. After you get used to this modification you will see that it is actually a little easier to play games. On the other hand the analog stick has exactly the same feel as the original and the headphone jack looks exactly the same, although in a slightly different location.Another modification visible is the moved wireless toggle. It is no longer on the side of the PSP but on the top. The Pro Duo memory card slot was also moved but the USB port remained in exactly the same place. We can also notice that (more…)
