Starbucks and Apple Team Up Together

Now here is something we do not see every day. Apple and Starbucks are teaming together. The popular coffee and more shops will be handing out iTunes download cards with the title “Song of the Day”. Starbucks thinks that they will hand out around 1.5 million songs per day, in a period between October 2 and November 7. Apple Confesses - Faulty iPod Touch Screens

After we got to see many complains concerning this problem, it seems that Apple has finally admitted that some early shipped units of their quite popular although just launched iPod Touch have problems with defective screens. The company claims that only a small number of units were affected and that the problem is “being remedied”. Apple Announced the upgrade of iPod Nano, iPod Classic and the Ipod Touch

Apple has announced today the upgrade of iPod Nano, iPod Classic and the new iPod Touch.
The iPod nano sports a 2-inch display 65% brighter than the older versions, QVGA, 320×240 pixels resolution, with a pixel density of 204 pixels per inch. Samsung Updates the Dap Line

Apple is said to soon present the new iPod line so competition needs to be one step ahead. This is the case with Samsung as they just updated the intire DAP line with the new Digital Natural Sound Engine (DNSe 2.0). Nokia 500 PMP and GPS announced

Nokia has released an all in one PMP, with Portable video, Portable audio and in-car GPS navigation, called 500. The Navigation device features a 4.3 inch display, handsfree Bluetooth calling, can direct you to addresses stored in the contacts list and give you details of the POIs you pass. Also, it sports Nokia Traffic Message Channel Service and an FM tuner.
The Nokia 500 will be priced at $410, excluding taxes, in Europe and should be available in Q4. We don’t know if it will ship in other countries.
