A 12.1 megapixel digital camera has been announced by Casio today. The Exilim Zoom Z1200 sports a 1/1.7″ 3x zoom CCD lens and a Exilim Engine 2.0 processor. The camera also feature image stabilizer, face detection, motion analysis and a technology that locks the focus on a person’s face and tracks it while he moves.

The camera takes photos and records 848×480 resolution videos @20fps on a SDHC card, has a 2.8″ LCD display and has a burst mode of 3 shots per second. We have no idea about the release date or price, but we will let you know as we find out.
