Blackberry Thunder ‘Storm’ Pictures Leaked

15 July 2008 No Comment

Smart phone choices are looking to become a little more complex now that it appears RIM is set to launch a full touchscreen Blackberry. The folks at CrackBerry.com got ahold of the first pictures of the new device, the Blackberry Thunder (possibly Blackberry Storm) 9500.

Some of the features of the Thunder include multi-touch glass display with tactile response, which gives you a feedback at the push a button, full QWERTY keyboard in landscape mode and SureType keyboard in portrait mode.

At a first glance, it does look a little like an iPhone and regardless of leaked photos, little other information is available. It’s assumed that the Blackberry Thunder will support 3G calls and data on both CDMA and GSM phone networks, advanced media playback, and a new interface.

The launch of the Blackberry Thunder is expected later this year.
