ASUS Xonar D2 Sound Card

Two days ago in Taipei, Taiwan, ASUS, one of the leaders in motherboard and graphics cards market has annouced that they are going to produce a new channel audio card, the ASUS Xonar D2 7.1.The audio card works with the AV200 audio chip, which offers beside of the unprecedented sound quality on PC platform, a multiple sound-enhancing technology from Dolby® and DTS.This sound-enhancing technology is used to transform almost any PC into your own high-quality digital home media center.
The new ASUS gadget has a signal- to-noise ratio of 118 db for both audio in and out—reaching the limit of audio quality on most almost all the PC platforms now available on the market.The Xonar D2 can deliver 118 db quality audio for all 7.1 channels.The Xonar has also multiple sound technologies from Dolby and DTS that can deliver the most outstanding entertainment experiences.One of those features is the Dolby Digital Live, with you can convert the audio content from your PC into Dolby Digital. Another feature is the Dolby Headphone, that can create a great surround sound experience; the Dolby Virtual Speaker delivers a vibrant surround sound from the stereo speakers.
Xonar has one of the greatest 3D Sound Positioning in PC Games.The Xonar D2 has also a special application that’s called “Portable Media Processor”, which works with the onboard Analog Loopback Transformation circuit.The audio lover will be very pleased by ASUS new generations Xonar D2 of its great audio quality and lets not forget about the gamers, they will get the best 3D positioning sound effects possible.
