Aperion Intimus 5.1 System D

aperion set

First of all, you can’t find these in stores. Aperion has chosen to sell only on it’s web site. They do however have a large variety of home theaters you can choose from, such as this one. Aperion guarantees customer service and extraordinary quality.
Available in cherrywood veneer or piano-black finish and with high-end sound, this may just be the right thing if what you’re looking for is an out of the ordinary home
theater.

The two towers seen above are also included, “guarding” the set. They measure 41.5 inches tall, 9.75 wide, and 12.5 deep and weigh in at 57 pounds. The subwoofer drivers measure about 8 inches; each 533-PT (powered tower) has a power cord that must be  plugged into an AC outlet. The 533-VAC center speaker is 7.4 by 19 by 8 inches and weighs about 20 pounds.

There is, of course, a volume control for every subwoofer and the posibility to select the
amount of bass, making it possible to enjoy to the maximum what you are listening, if you want to chill out or even if you are a bass freak. The speakers have a high density fiber board thick of ~ 1 inch and it feels (and looks) very sturdy.
The Aperion Intimus 5.1 System D has an impressive way of staying above most of its competition; even though it sounds very good at every volume, it stays very “calm” even at maximum; actually, you get a 30 day period during which you will get your money back if you are unsatisfied. Unlikely, though. They even give you a decent-quality sound-pressure meter.

So, you have a matched five-speaker surround-sound speaker package; two ”towers”: three-way tower speakers with built-in, 150-watt subwoofers; three-way center speaker, and two dipole/bipole surround speakers. What’s left? Well, one more thing: $1968.00 to spare.
