3G iPhone To Include GPS?

Rumors are starting to pile up on the long-expected 3G iPhone. This time, GigaOM confirmed that the new iPhone will have GPS included, basing their prediction on sources inside Broadcom that stated they were selected for a GPS contract. Legal requirements seem to have been solved since last year by the FCC regarding Enhanced 911.
In their rush to put their hands on it, many say that a 3G iPhone doesn’t even need a GPS system, and that this new feature will only slow down the production. The iPhone is about to be announced at Apple’s WWDC in San Francisco next month.
